Two family places for September

Piano lessons at your home in Sandbanks & Canford Cliffs — for families serious about progress.

What I teach is more than the piano. Lessons taken seriously build discipline, technical skill, problem-solving and a genuine love of learning music — skills that stay with a child for life. My job is to know your children well enough to get the very best out of them, week after week, from first notes to ABRSM Grade 8.

More than piano lessons

What your children take away

Discipline

A weekly rhythm of focused practice that carries into schoolwork and everything else your child takes on.

Technique

Proper foundations at the instrument — posture, tone, reading — built patiently from the first lesson.

Problem-solving

Learning a piece is learning to break a hard problem into small ones. Piano teaches it every single week.

A love of music

Repertoire your child actually wants to play, so practice becomes something they choose, not endure.

How lessons work

At your home

Every lesson happens at your piano, around school and family life. No rota, no music-school car park.

One teacher, throughout

Arun McGoay teaches every lesson personally — building the relationship with each child that gets the best out of them.

A clear ABRSM path

Structured progress from first notes to Grade 8, with termly notes home and a termly recital to play for.

Holiday intensives

In school holidays, families book daily blocks — an hour or two every weekday. The fastest progress there is.

A family place

Built for families who want real results

  • Covers up to three children, with fixed weekly times at your home
  • Two to four hours of lessons a week — the pace where progress genuinely compounds
  • Most families simply buy the 20-lesson pack (£1,000) roughly each month
  • Structured ABRSM path, termly progress notes, and a termly recital
  • Daily intensive blocks available in every school holiday

I teach alongside a demanding career in finance, so the school stays deliberately small — two family places are open for September, filled by consultation. If your family is looking for less than two hours a week, the standard lessons are the right fit instead.

Request a consultation lesson

The first step is a consultation lesson at your home — on me. We meet, your children play, and we agree whether a family place is the right fit. Leave your email and I’ll be in touch personally, usually the same day.
